A BIG thank you to everyone who took part in the ‘BIG Abseil’ on Saturday.

All of our fundraisers are back on solid ground having done us proud! It was such an amazing day, and a real team effort. Everyone did so well getting over the edge and having a good time while doing it.

We want to thank the lads from Challenge the Wild as they were incredible! Thank you Paul, Joe, and Connor for your support. It wouldn’t have been possible without you guys.

Beth Creighton – taking time off from supporting people in crisis to showing our superhero’s how its done by volunteering to be the first one over the edge!

We were incredibly grateful to be joined by our very own superhero’s from JDS Trucks who sent along Superman, Batman and Banana Man to join us in our fundraising efforts and helping us to support those struggling with their mental health in Bury and Greater Manchester.

It was great to see some many people come along to cheer them on! Massive thanks to everyone who helped out on the day, we want to shout out Chris Makin for his heroic efforts getting the word out to everyone on Holcombe Hill about BIG and the incredibly work we do in the community.

Emma Kenny – Patron of BIG in Mental Health

Our Patron, Emma Kenny, came along to help us out and showed no fear as she gave us a BIG smile going over the edge! So far it’s looking like we have raised well over £5,000 for BIG! All the money will be spent on providing free support for people in our community who are struggling with their mental health, so we’d like to say a BIG thank you from all the team to all those who donated to the cause and proving not all hero’s wear capes!
